I amaze myself on days like this when I have things constantly going from 8:30 AM to, well past midnight now. Running around getting ready for the Califrnia Delegation, keeping up with classes, beating Kingdom Hearts 2....it's all so second nature to me now. Plus last week, DAG asked me to hop onto the Country Wife cast and play a small role. OF COURSE I took it. Let's hear it for being added on a week before the show opens for my first department show! WAHOO!!!
With that in mind, I must advertise:
Come play in England! THE COUNTRY WIFE April 20-22th, 27-30th Salem State College Mainstage Curtain @ 8PM, Sunday @ 2PM
Come see me do Pinter, again!! The Return of Silence and Family Voices Open Dress Rehersal May 5th @ 8PM Callan Studio Theatre
Oh, and one more thing: GRANDMA'S 3RD LEG!!! Tuesday May 9th @ 8PM Veterans Hall (Campus Center) Last show of the semester!
I think that's it...I mean I hope thats it. Patrick has enough things to do. Peace out.

So it's been a relaxing break, but I've got shitloads of stuff to do in Salem when I get back. So much that I may have to go back a night early to get a head start on it all. But amongst the craziness of Spring Break 06, I managed to catch 2 great fuckin flics:
Crash: Due to recent Oscar Buzz, I had to catch the supposed best movie of 2005. And I must say, a highly enjoyable and important little film it proved to be. For those of you who haven't caught it yet, it would be worth the rental and so I can talk about it with you without ruining the plot. The characters were so powerful in that everyone was so disgustingly racist and had their failing points to a certain degree, but no one was the depiction of a sterotype and they all found their way through their struggles. A very fucking impressive narrative, it definatly toys with your emotional chords and the movie is so well paced that you can't help but not pay attention. So I have to agree with you, Oscar voters, but I still with Walk the Line got at least a nominee nod.
V for Vendetta: I walked into this movie opening night tonight not knowing what the hell to expect. I walked out of the movie theater scratching my head for about two more minutes, then I realized that everything did make sense. The movie keeps moving between some intense knife swinging action and a fucked up political thriller, and keeps you figuring things out at the same pace as the lead detective hot on his trails. It plays into the whole 1984 idea of a totalitarian society and portrays V as a freedom fighter, but at the same time a terrorist. And you won't quite know who's stide you'll favor more until its too late. Of course, Natalie Portman fared well on her own and had some very powerful moments, but the performance that will go most unappreciated was the constantly masked, yet ever so poetic Hugo Weaving. Good shit.
Now these films are Reidy approved, so you can go watch them and love them and hate them.

So sitting here, all alone on duty...I was compelled to look back at this month and why I've only gotten about five hours of sleep each night.
ACTF was fucking awesome. Marcie and I had a terrific package, but didn't make it past the first round. So hey, we lived and learned from our mistakes. Either way, it gave me the opportunity to audition for the 5X10's in which I made itno the best out of them all, in my opinion. And of course, Pinter rocked the feeble minds of theater students everywhere once again. Toss in some wild adventures with Bryce, Lex, Paul and Joey at 2 in the morning and it was a pretty awesome week.
But as soon as I got back to school, I was swamped. And I have been swamped, trying to catch up on all the schoolwork I've had to do. And what's crazier is that I actually auditioned for "The Country Wife" for Bobby's part on top of everything else my life has. I guess I just hate being bored, I never have a need for a dull moment. And just this past week, all my teachers decided that they all wanted to get their midterms out of the way before spring break. Dear god, help me.
And Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out in 32 Days, I don't know how I'm going to stay in school after that. And while I'm being nerdy and talking about video games, I'd like to take a moment to rub it in the faces of everyone that last week I beat Guitar Hero on expert mode. In case you don't believe me:

That's me.
Chris and I have both been equally busy, but I'm still crazy about the girl. We had our romantic Valentine's Day dinner whitin the charming atmosphere of the legendary Engine Houce, followed by the notorious Anti-Valentine's Day party. I think if there were any pictures from that night, they are probably incriminating to anyone in it.
And last but not least, Evil Giblin is on the loose. He can not be stopped.

Back in RA Training, time is running out for ACTF, and I just drank a Dunkin Donuts Latte at midnight.
GOTTA BOOGIE!!!
- Every day in the UK, four people die putting Pat Reidy on!
- The book of Esther in the Bible is the only book which does not mention Pat Reidy!
- Over 2000 people have now climbed Pat Reidy, with roughly ten percent dying on the way down.
- Pat Reidy cannot be detected by infrared cameras!
- Two thirds of the world's eggplant is grown in Pat Reidy!
- Japan provides over thirty percent of the world's Pat Reidy supply!
- If you blow out all the candles on Pat Reidy with one breath, your wish will come true.
- Pacman was originally called Pat Reidyman!
- In a pinch, the skin from a shark can be used as Pat Reidy!
- The fingerprints of Pat Reidy are virtually indistinguishable from those of humans, so much so that they could be confused at a crime scene.

The Killers - "All These Things That I've Done" |
] |
It's been one fuckin hell of a semester, and I've been too out of my mind with stuff to do to even sit and look back on it. August was an interesting month of RA training for three weeks, some good times with Paul and Giblin, and spending nights creepily enough right back in the same apartment I moved out of three months ago. Once September rolled around the Freshman moved in and things got hectic with being an RA, rehersing for Pinter, working at the Pirate Museum, and still making time to hang out with friends, party, and do my homework. That continued on into October when I somehow got my ACTF nomination, to which I thought I would have all the time in the world to work on. Yet somehow, November and December have rolled through with more stuff to keep me busy, and now I'm finally on break, and I still don't have scenes I'm happy with. I picked my partner, Marcie is one interesting character...I picked her because I see a lot of similarities, and I feel as though we could do some awesome work together. But looking for scenes has been the biggest hassle in the world, and I feel like the Professors say they want to help but there is really not much they can do, because I've been at Salem State for three years now and none of them have yet to work with me in a show. So why be a theater major? Well, at least Scott Gagnon thinks I can do something.
It's weird thinking that in one year I will have to think about potentially graduating and moving into the real world. I feel like I just got here, I feel like people are just starting to notice, and now I have less then a year before I can say "Weeeell I'll just give it the old College try!!" I really don't know what the fuck I'm doing, specifically. I guess I have plenty of options, I'm just not sure if there's one I like enough to do something about it.
Something new needs to happen, fast. I'm sick of worrying about the same old shit.
Anywho...I saw "Walk The Line" a few nights ago, it was fucking amazing. Great story, dead on acting, a very well put together film. And it makes me want to listen to more Johnny Cash. "King Kong" is also I film I highly recommend, if you've got a spare three hours this holiday break.
AND WHERE THE HELL ARE MY WOOSTA PEOPLES AT??!?!?!?!?
I've got till the 13th, Winter RA training commences, and semster six of college begins... Another semester scrapping for TPH, trying to get money, and not being in any shows. Yippee.

Curvy and Naughty Raw score: 55% Big Breasts, 59% Big Ass, and 60% Cute! |
Thanks for taking the T and A and C test! Based on your selections, the results are clear: you show an attraction to larger breasts, larger asses, and sexier composures than others who've taken the test.
Note that you like women overall curvier than average.
My third variable, "cuteness" is a mostly objective measure of how innocent a given model looked. It's determined by a combination of a lot of factors: lack of dark eye makeup, facial expression, posture, etc. If you scored high on that variable, you are either really nice OR you're into deflowering teens. If you scored low, you are attracted to raunchier, sexier, women. In your case, your lower than average score suggests you appreciate a sexier, naughtier look. Kudos!
Recommended Celebrities: Supermodel Laetitia Casta and Actress Angelina Jolie. | | |
My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 70% on tit-size | | You scored higher than 78% on ass-size | | You scored higher than 42% on cuteness |

Beach Boys - "Wouldn't It Be Nice" |

Just got back from Bonita Springs in Florida, and my first ever plane trips, and here's my
Top Twelve Favorite Things I Havest Learned From My Four Day Adventure Down South With Chris:
12) You automatically have a job if you can play the guitar and sing while a computer beats out oldies, 11) The resteraunts are unique and awesome, so wave to anyone staring at you and don't eat the tuna. 10) No matter how nice the weather is, there must be one flash thunderstorm at some point in the afternoon that can last no longer then 7 minutes before speediously subsiding. 9) The ocean water is ridiculously warm, and if you don't shuffle your feet you'll end up doing the "Stingray Hop"....or get eaten by a shark. 8) The locals are all old, plastic surgified, and drunk by 9:30 AM 7) The locals that aren't old that work there now but are not from Florida won't explain how they got there. Hence they mumble some west-coast longing and change the subject. 6) You must wear shoes inside, or else you get back pains from walking around a concrete foundation with no basement. But in exchange for a smelly basement, you get a really cool lanai. 5) Take a moment to practice paddling before kayaking down an aligator-infested river. 4) If you get stung by a bee while kayaking down said aligator-infested river, don't expect any help from mothers or the Florida State Park. 3) All local male children under the age of 12 are homosexual. 2) No matter how ugly your body may seem to be, the policy is clearly labeled next to most "ATM MACHINES": No Shirt No Shoes, NO PROBLEM!!! 1) Airplanes RULE!!!
I'm sure there was more, but for now it's home sweet porch. Chris and I had an amazingly wonderful time thanks to Laura, whom everyone should send birthday cards to next week. Yes, even if you don't know her.
The address is: 23986302589652306 Random Golf Course Hole #16 Bonita Springs, FL

Tom Petty - "You Wreck Me" |
] |
I can hear people going through my trash. It's disturbing.
I was just reading through mine and some of my friends old journal entries today. Some make me smile and feel all cute as shit inside and some make me realize how retarded we can be sometimes. Isn't it amazing how easy life can be when we don't put up with bullshit?
I dunno. Just a thought.
Working at the Pirate Museum is a unique experience. My co-workers are both quite amusing and interesting folk. Of course I'm only there for a few more weeks before I dive into this whole RA hullaballo. I don't know what to expect. But I can tell you one thing, if it gets in the way of the things that are important to me, I'm outta there.
Chris just found out that now she's going to ACTF for Bat Boy. That rules. I mean, she deserved it all along but now it's cool that she is going. We've been discussing certain things about who might get nominated from the shows in the fall, and it made me realize something: that I've been in the Salem State Theater Department for two years and I wouldn't feel ready at all to go off to some festival and do the whole she-bang. Pinter is coming up soon, and I want to do good in that, and that's all that matters for now. But I feel like if you're a BA, you're really not learning all that you should be. On the other hand, you become more "well-rounded" then BFAs. What does that even MEAN.
This entry is pointless. But in one week from tomorrow I'll be on a plane to Florida, so it is all good.

The Beatles - "Revolution 9" ......BACKWARDS??? |
] |
Michael Foster has officially made the Beatles the one band that freaks me out whenever I listen to them.
Apparently, back in 1969 this whole conspiracy was set up that Paul McCartney died in a car crash on a Wednesday morning at 5AM, and that every album afterwards he was replaced by a man who had recently won a "Paul McCartney Look-alike" Contest named William Campbell (Aka Billy Shears) but they kept referring to him as Paul because they didnt want the average fans to freak out. They also never officially announced that he infact won the contest at the time. However George, John, and Ringo left fucked up clues and hidden messages throughout the album covers and lyrics leading those die-hard fans to find out about the death of Paul McCartney. For instance:
- If you play the track "Revolution 9" (the White Album) backwards, you can hear a fucking car crash, followed by the sparks of flame and a man screaming for help. Also, throughout the song there are hidden messages in the lyrics.
- On the Abbey Road cover, Paul is out of step from the others, as well as being barefoot, while the others are dressed in symbolic clothings of mourning. Theres also a liscence plate which reads "28 IF" meaning if Paul were alive he would be 28?

- He is dressed as the walrus (symbolic in many countries as the symbol of death) on the Magical Mystery Tour cover, which also reveals a phone number when read in a mirror and back in the sixties if it was dialed a eeire voice would answer saying "You are getting closer..." Also on that album is a hidden message at the end of "Strawberry Fields Forever" in which you can hear "...I buried Paul" at the end. Conviniently enough, he was buried in a cemetary on fucking Penny Lane with Father McKenzie.

- In the song "Glass Onion" Lennon flat out tells everyone "And here's another clue for you all/The Walrus was Paul."
- In "With A Little Help From My Friends" they start the song by yelling "BILLY SHEARS" which is a play on "Billy's Here" which basically introduces the world to William Campbell. That song is off of Sgt. Peppers, which on the album cover we see "McCartney" with a mustache for the first time, which covers up a scar William Campbell has, as well as having him hold a black instrument, wear a jacket with the initials "OPD" (canadian for Officially Pronounced Dead), and someone holding a hand over his head, yet another symbol of death.
This image is a cleaned up version for the american release, however:

Theres tons of other clues in the lyrics as well as a few more fucked up images and some more hidden phone numbers throughout the Abbey Road, Revolver, White Album, Magical Mystery Tour albums. Of course, some people say it is all a hoax, and others say it could be symbolic of Paul's "rebirth" to a new religion, or maybe the Beatles JUST REALLY WANTED TO FUCK WITH MY HEAD!!!!
Either way...its working.
Here's a website I found that pretty much lists out all of the clues and rumors.
You all know my opinion, what do you guys think?

Summer so far at seven west has been an enjoyably one. Of course I've spent plenty of hours being extremly bored and unemployed but it will all pay off this month when I finally start working at the New England Pirate Mueseum four days a week. It'll help bring in the extra cash for when I start being an RA in the fall, and not to mention it will help pay for a nice trip with Chris to visit her friend Laura in Florida for a few days. I'm pretty excited about that, considering I have NEVER BEEN ON A PLANE IN MY LIFE. Not to mention how much I hate asking people for money and borrowing money and what not.
Living at Seven West is amusing. Theres always a party going on, yesterday I came back home and found half of the couch cushions out of the back window and trash barrels all over the place, not to mention the door was wide open. Just goes to show that if you blink around here, you might miss somehting.
Otherwise life is okay. Chris is one busy girl, and sometimes it can be frustrating to deal with when I don't have that many things to deal with. But it's all worth it. I'm glad I can be there to help her out, and the likewise. Her show, "Return to the Forbbiden Planet", features her in yet another hot teenage-lust fest, but it's an amusing little space opera, and she really rocks out in it...and therefore it is awesome. Actually, the rest of the cast really rock it out too, they seem to have way more fun the the audience does and thats what makes it entertaining. If you wanna check it out, go on a Saturday so you can see "Grandma's 3rd Leg" too. Our first show was pretty successful, and I was proud of how well I did in a few certain games. But then again, theres always room for improvment, such the life of the actor.
I think I want to go to some sort of grad school, or even if I could go to California on an internship for a summer. I dont know, I just need something more then what Salem State has to offer. I can't really figure out what I want to do with my life, but everythings fine for now. I want to have some different experiences while I'm here in college, so I can hopefully get a better idea.
I'm in the campus center right now, and everytime I'm here theres annoying kids playing on the computers. Sigh...oh well. For now, Reidy out.
